The SUPERLITE F 05 is the consistent evolution of the mobile, multispectral crime scene light’s concept with exceptionally high UV output and filters optimized for typical applications. In comparison to the predecessor, 8 of the 10 filter ranges have been optimized e.g. for dactylography applications and others. Moreover, the F 05’s filter wheel allows a quickly switch between the spectral ranges, so that it is possible to “scan” the environment, e.g. if the material of the traces is still unknown. The new ventilation concept specially designed for this light source with 3D air channels has been optimized so that almost no scattered light escapes.
QUIET, PORTABLE AND SUITABLE FOR ALMOST ANY APPLICATION
High efficiency through low weight, powerful battery and low energy consumption enables you to use the light source on the move, regardless of the presence of a power source at the crime scene. Even hard-to-reach places are no problem thanks to the slim, flexible light guide with magnetic-safety-hand-switch and the telescopic arm. Also an optional optics set can be used with the Superlite F05 to shape the beam for other forensic applications. These include an:
Optical magnifier – provides magnified images of evidence and provides a mechanism to use in combination with a DSLR camera for evidence capture. Long pass filters can be placed on top of the lens for magnified fluorescence viewing.
Line illuminators for illuminating evidence such as fingerprint / shoeprint impressions on flat surfaces or for gel lifted prints.
Transmitted light illuminator for illuminating evidence such as watermarks on banknotes
Oblique collimator – for examination of flat surfaces including Gel lifts
Magnifier – for examination of fingermarks and trace evidence (also accommodates filter for fluorescence examination)
