The Attestor Forensics NINcha P31 offers a portable system built within a waterproof peli case for developing fingerprints using Ninhydrin, DFO or Indandione. The compact size makes the cabinet ideal for use in crime scene vehicles and remote locations.
This suitcase model can be used with all the same developers as the larger standing models. The interior chamber was are easy to clean stainless steel, as are the evidence racks. The removable chamber evidence racks can hold evidence as large as two sheets of size DIN-A4 paper.
The control system has all the features of the larger models, including the datalogger system, for documentation and quality control. The system also has the same custom and pre-programmed cycles, making evidence development quick and easy. The door of the chamber has a large glass panel so evidence development can easily be monitored throughout the entire process. The door is automatically locked while cycles are running to prevent evidence from being disturbed by unauthorized individuals.
Stainless Steel and Glass Interior
The inner climate chamber of every NINcha P31 is made from high quality smooth stainless steel, making it easy to clean and resistant to corrosive material. This makes removing any DNA contamination simple and allows peroxide-based cleaners to be used, as these cleaners would damage and be less effective on painted and plastic surfaces.
The NINcha P31 setup includes evidence racks large enough to hold two A4 size pieces of letter paper at once, or multiple smaller pieces of evidence.

How do I clean the NINcha P31 interior?
During the development process, dust can be created by evidence and settle on the interior surface of climate chambers.
The stainless steel and glass interior of the chamber can be wiped with a damp microfiber cloth, or a mild water and soap solution. It can also be wiped or sprayed with an alcohol or peroxide solution for DNA decontamination
What till fit in the NINcha P31?
The P31 interior has two evidence racks that are 45 x 37 cm. This is larger enough for one piece of evidence as large as an A3 size piece of paper or two A4 size sheets next to each other.
What cycle settings can I use with NINcha P31?
The cycle settings that can be used are largely the same as the larger NINcha models. It can develop evidence at lower humidity and temperature settings for longer periods of time (24-48 hours). It can also develop evidence in shorter periods of time with settings at 80°C and 60 – 70 % rH for NIN or 100°C und no humidity increase for quick development of IND. Settings can be customized to your needs for longer or shorter development times and different developers.
