Document Examination

The Regula 4305DMH is an advanced second line forensic spectral comparator with 21 integrated light sources, a digital 4Mpx camera, 100x on screen magnification.  This system captures, stores and compares high resolution images for forensic examination.

The Regula 8003M is a portable system for verification of currency and / or ID documents.   It provides a wide range of lighting including White, UV (A, B and C bands), IR, transmitted and OVD verification.  Images can be compared, annotated and stored with the notebook laptop provided in the kit.

The AB8000 is the worlds first instrument for quantitative analysis of pen tip force, a breakthrough method for forensic handwriting analysis.  The system uses focus variation microscopy, low angle lighting, filters and image processing to provide 2D images of strokes, 3D images, trend graphs etc.

The Regula 1007 eye loupe is a x 5 magnification eye loupe ideally suited for fingerprint examination.  It is provided as standard with a Henry classification disc for object assessment and classification but is provided with optional Battley, Henry/Battley or Miracode disc as an additional accessory.

The Regula 1008 eye loupe is a 5x magnification eye loupe with integrated variable intensity LED white light suited for fingerprint examination.  Provided as standard with a Henry classification disc for object assessment and classification with additional classification discs available as an option.

The Projectina Docustat DS-220 is a dedicated system for visulaisation of indented writing on documents.  More sensitive than oblique lighting with Docustat provides permanent 1 to 1 transparencies of indented writing whilst ignore visible script.

The Regula 10XX range of forensic magnifiers combine an eye loupe with integrated LED lighting and optional measuring scale for express authentication of  fingerprints, passports, ID cards, travel documents and other security documents. The Regula 4177 is a compact video spectral magnifier combining a choice of either a 3 Mpx or 5 Mpx digital camera and a range of LED illumination from White, IR, UV-A and anti-stokes illumination for express authentication of  fingerprints and a range of documents including:- passports, ID cards, travel documents and other breeder documents.

The Regula 4178 is an accessory for the Regula 4177 spectral magnifier.  It's increases the functionality of the 4177 magnifier by adding additional lighting modes including UV-A, UV-B, UV-C and a 24 LED oblique illumination for holographic / OVD examination.

The Regula 4167S is a standalone part or can be used as an accessory for the Regula 4177 magnifier.  It provides a wide area uniform white and Infra Red transmitted light source for examination of watermarks, mechanical erasures, security fibres etc..
