The Regula 83X3M is a portable workstation for automated reading and authenticity of passports, ID cards, driving licences, visa and other security documents.  The 83X3M enables test and barcode recognition, RFID tag reading with an optional biometric fingerprint scanner. 

The system consists of a integrated tablet PC with 8 inch touch screen display.  The system can be battery or mains powered.  9 different models to choose from dpeending on light source and biometric configuration required.

Operation

• The optical reader automatically detects a document in the reader slot.
• Images of the document in functional illumination modes are formed. At the same time data from an RFID tag is read out.

• The results of processing are available for further use.
